are some hair and makeup tips for your anniversary party.
An up-do is perfect for a formal occasion. You can create a knotted bun by combing back your dry hair, making a pony tail at the top of your head, and then splitting it into two sections. Apply smoothing cream to each section, and then tie them knot over knot until you get to the ends. Wrap your hair, pin it into a bun shape, and then spray it with strong hold hair spray.
Another classy look is a braided bun. Apply smoothing cream from the middle to the ends of damp hair, and then dry it flat with a paddle brush. Flat iron one-inch sections, if needed. Braid your hair, and then wrap it and pin it into a bun. Finish the look with shine serum and extreme hold hair spray.
For a formal event held in the evening, you will want to choose more dramatic makeup colors than you would for a party during the day. Apply makeup softly with a sponge brush from your eye line on the upper crease of your eyelid. Use one side of your brush so it will look even. Start with a light color and then follow with a darker shade. Apply eyeliner to make your eyes stand out. Then apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes. Apply liquid or cream-to-powder foundation on your face and neck, and then apply powder from top to bottom in a circular motion. Use a matte lip liner in a shade close to the color of your lipstick.
